Benha National University Hosts an Educational Seminar on “Financial Inclusion” in Collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute

Benha National University organized an educational seminar to introduce the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) and its training programs, aiming to promote financial inclusion culture among students.

The seminar featured a presentation highlighting the training packages offered by the EBI for students, along with a short film on the financial goals of sustainable development and the banking sector's role in achieving them. The event also included a cultural competition among attendees, with commemorative prizes awarded to distinguished students.

In his speech, Dr. Gamal Sosa, Acting President of Benha National University, emphasized the university's dedication to organizing such educational seminars as part of its commitment to enhancing students’ knowledge and skills to facilitate their integration into the labor market. He stated that the seminar aims to deepen students' understanding of the concept of financial inclusion.

Dr. Sosa added that this seminar aligns with the university’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with academic and training institutions, including the EBI, as a leading institution offering innovative training programs that support the state’s vision for educational development. He noted that this aligns with Benha National University's vision for modernization and advancement.

Dr. Suleiman Mostafa, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the seminar's importance in fostering students' awareness of financial inclusion and keeping pace with continuous developments in the banking and financial sectors. He emphasized the university's keenness to leverage the EBI's accumulated expertise through expanding cooperation and student participation across all faculties. He also commended the active engagement of students from various faculties and academic levels during the seminar.

The seminar was attended by a large number of students from different faculties and academic stages, alongside program directors, faculty members, and university staff. Also present were Dr. Ahmed Khalil, a lecturer at the EBI; Mr. Mohamed Youssef, Assistant Manager for Business Development at the EBI; and Mr. Omar Salah, from the Business Development Department at the Egyptian Banking Institute.
